This credit guide is provided by Artemis Capital Pty Ltd ABN 28 124 174 063 and Bondsure Lending Pty Limited ABN 66 611 328 548 (together “we“).
The Australian Credit Licensee is Artemis Capital Pty Ltd, Australian Credit licence 491971, operating under a service agreement with the credit provider, Bondsure Lending (Aust) Pty Limited ACN 614 416 296. The Credit Representative
The licensee has appointed Bondsure Lending Pty Ltd, Credit Representative Number 494419 (“BondSure”) as its credit representative. BondSure is authorised to perform the obligations of, and exercise the rights of, a credit provider or mortgagee in relation to a credit contract, proposed credit contract, mortgage or proposed mortgage and can be contacted by calling 1300 333 007 or emailing [email protected]. BondSure is likely to pay a commission to real estate agents for assisting in the process. You may, on request, obtain a reasonable estimate of the commission and how it is worked out.
We will not enter into an unsuitable contract with you
We will not enter into a contract on behalf of the credit provider if it would be unsuitable for you. A contract will be unsuitable for you if you will be unable to comply with your financial obligations under the contract without suffering substantial hardship, or if the contract does not meet your stated requirements and objectives.
In order to ensure that we do not enter into a contract that is unsuitable with you, we are required to make reasonable enquiries relating to your financial situation, requirements and objectives, and to take reasonable steps to verify your financial situation.
We will provide a copy of our assessment if you ask
On behalf of the credit provider, we are required to make an assessment that the credit contract is not unsuitable before we enter into a credit contract with you.
If you ask us, preferably through making a request to BondSure, we will give you a copy of the assessment before entering into the credit contract. You may also request a copy of the assessment within seven years of the date the contract is made. If your request is made within two years, we will provide you with the assessment within seven business days of your request, otherwise we will provide you with the assessment within 21 business days. We will not charge you a fee for providing the assessment.
What if you have a complaint concerning the credit contract?
In the event of a complaint, you should first discuss the matter with BondSure to see whether they can satisfactorily resolve your concerns. You may contact BondSure by calling 1300 333 007 or emailing [email protected]. If initially not resolved, please contact the Chief Executive of Bondsure, Paul Mylott, at [email protected].
In the event that Bondsure is unable to resolve the dispute to your satisfaction, you may apply to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA). AFCA is an impartial, independent and free external dispute resolution scheme to resolve disputes. Before AFCA can investigate the matter, you must have first given us the opportunity to review it through BondSure.
